Introducing: Raking Sokoban

This strange variant on the sokoban puzzler traces its roots to Steven's Sausage Roll, but switches things around just a bit more, as now you do not have an option to orient yourself on demand, but must resort to smashing yourself into a nearby wall, head and rake, in order for the momentum to swing you around into the desired orientation.

Jokes aside, the movement and mechanics in this game take some time to get used to, but can be strangely satisfying to solve. So just turn off your mind and start raking!

There are a few levels, one of which is inspired by microban 2. I am yet to create an interesting level based on microban 1, though it is my very big wish to do so. Hope you enjoy the puzzle and rake up a good score or whatever!

Comment any feedback or suggestions

Sincerely,

Canti

It's a simple but cool mechanic, I like it.

that's it!? I got stuck on one level because I was missing a more simple solution. I feel like you could make good randomly generated levels with this.

I had no idea the sort of a mental calculation involved in the raking of leaves. Eventually I stumbled upon the strategy of asking myself what the single most bizarre way to rake the leaves would be, and it rarely led me astray.

A+++ mechanic, would play Ilija’s Irksome Rake again! :)

This looks really neat, but I'm completely stuck on the first level! I haven't been able to figure out how to turn around.

you don't need to turn around for the first level

Ah, thank you - that was the nudge I needed to discover the piece I was missing.

I'm stuck too, but this time I'm unable to get the leaf pile to move!

EDIT: I am aware that I could move the leaves backwards, but I can't get them to move forwards towards the bins.
